    We support and care for adults living with a learning disability, who may also have a diagnosis of autism, in specialist supported living, residential services and hospitals. Our aim is to deliver effective and outcome based services within person centred, professional care environments, supporting people to have the most choice and independence possible. We set high standards for ourselves in the delivery of care, and most importantly, we put the people we support at the heart of everything we do.

    Within your role you will undertake work that is meaningful to the people we support in our services and socially important within the local community. You will be responsible for the preparation and provision of dietary meals for those in our care within the guidelines of care plans or service requirements.   • Located in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, near Southend-on-Sea, Old Leigh House is a specialist hospital provides assessment and intervention for up to seven men who are living with a learning disability and complex needs, or with a forensic history.

     

    Old Leigh House is a large semi-detached house, overlooking a park in a residential area of Leigh-on-Sea. The service has a choice of lounges and communal areas for people to choose from and a small garden at the back of the house. The house has been specially adapted and has an accessibility lift for those people who come to us with mobility needs.
